The contest was broken down into three different teams. Team Antetokounmpo, which consisted of Jrue Holiday (who replaced an injured Giannis Antetokounmpo) and brothers Alex and Thanasis Antetokounmpo. The hometown Utah Jazz were represented by Jordan Clarkson, Walker Kessler, and Collin Sexton. Lastly, a rookie team featuring Paolo Banchero, Jaden Ivey, and Jabari Smith Jr. The teams competed in a series of skill-based challenges, including relay, passing, and shooting.
