In the latest episode of NBA 2K TV, host Rachel Demita catches up with 2K Senior Producer Rob Jones, who spoke briefly about what to expect from the sneakers in NBA 2K16.

Jones says that the company is revving up 3D scanning, ensuring that the details are captured from every angle. The clip features a demonstration of how the Air Jordan XX9 is being scanned for the game.

He also talked brands, pointing out that Dwyane Wade’s Li-Ning sneakers and Klay Thompson’s kicks from ANTA will be part of the game. They’re even trying to strike a deal with BrandBlack, who is currently represented by Los Angeles Clippers guard Jamal Crawford. Jones explained why 2K would go the extra mile for a brand with just one athlete.

“We’re so accurate, or we’re trying to be so accurate in the game that it’s really important to us,” said Jones.

The interview with Jones takes place at about the 3:35 mark in the video. NBA 2K16 launches Tuesday, Sept. 29.
