Hypothetical brand signings are becoming just as hot a topic as hypothetical sports matchups. Back in June, Kanye West revealed that he'd like to bring Stephen Curry from Under Armour to his own Yeezy brand. But who would Michael Jordan, the greatest sneaker endorser of all-time, like to add to Team Jordan? The answer may surprise you.

Jordan answered the question from a fan at his Flight School this weekend, and it's not Curry, LeBron James, Kevin Durant or Anthony Davis he'd like to see in Jumpman sneakers. In fact, it's not even a basketball player. Reigning MLB AL MVP Mike Trout would get the call if Jordan had his way. Widely regarded as the best player in the league, Trout is already a 4-time All-Star and 3-time Silver Slugger — and he's just 24 years old. And considering Jordan's lifelong fascination with the game of baseball, his pick makes sense.

Always a team player, Jordan conceded his Trout dreams, acknowledging that he's already a signature athlete with Nike. "He's a Nike guy, I can't steal Nike guys," said Jordan.
