There has been no shortage of wild sneakers when it comes to collaborative projects between Alyx designer Matthew M. Williams and Nike thus far. Continuing that trend, Williams is showing off what else he has in the works with the Swoosh.
Ahead of tomorrow’s Alyx Spring/Summer 2023 runway show, Williams took to his Instagram to preview an unreleased MMW x Nike slide. The silhouette appears to be constructed entirely of foam, with small cutouts placed throughout the model and larger ones at the mudguard for ventilation. The only branding that appears on the collab is the tiny MMW x Nike logo found on the upper portion of the silhouette.
Despite an early look from Williams, release info for his MMW x Nike slide has not yet been announced by either of the parties involved. Check back soon to Sole Collector for updates.
UPDATE (08/31): Release details for Williams’ MMW x Nike Zoom 005 Slides have officially been announced. The collaborative slides will make their retail debut in the “Black” and “Light Bone” colorways on Sept. 9 exclusively at Alyxstudio.com.
