"Nike lifer, I'm here to stay," LeBron James says in the above clip, breaking his silence on the historic lifetime deal he just signed with Nike. "I ain't going nowhere. Nike baby, it's all about the Swoosh."

The Bleacher Report video is delivered from one of James' sneaker closet, a fitting setting given the topic. In it, King James peruses his Swoosh-filled shelves while talking about the humbling experience of getting his own signature shoe line.

"For a kid growing up, seeing kids walk around with Jordans and Barkleys and Pennies and Pippens. I thought that was the greatest thing – Griffeys – I thought that was the greatest thing ever. And I was that kid too."

He pulls his first signature shoe, the Nike Air Zoom Generation, off the shelf and reminisces on the genesis of his Nike deal.

"This right here is where it all started. 18-year-old kid coming into the league and having an opportunity to have my own signature shoe, which I never ever thought would be possible."

James seems still unable to process it all, saying that he's in awe of the deal.

"I doesn't make sense to me right now," he says. "I haven't got a grip on it. I haven't got a grasp on what just happened today with this announcment."
