Before the preseason gets underway, LeBron James made his on-court debut with the new look Cleveland Cavaliers at Quicken Loans Arena last night. In front of a raucous crowd of nearly 17,000, the Cavs held an intrasquad scrimmage, giving fans a preview of what they can expect to see this season.
Announced to a deafening ovation, James took the court for a few highlight plays with his new running mate Kyrie Irving. On his feet, a red and black colorway of the Nike Zoom Soldier 8.
This did raise a few eyebrows considering his shunning of the LeBron 11 last season, as well as yesterday's news that the LeBron 12 launch has been delayed due to a 'cosmetic issue.' However, he could just be holding off the on-court sig debut for the games that matter.
Read on for a few shots from last night's scrimmage.
