Sneaker closets and collections have increasingly turned into an arms race for NBA athletes.
As footwear enthusiasts have already seen all sorts of massive closets and impressive hordes of exclusives, they are a tough set to impress when it comes to stuff like this. On display this time is the closet of Jrue Holiday of the New Orleans Pelicans, which he calls a "shoe library."
The display houses over 250 shoes and features LED lighting and shelves measured specifically for Holiday's size 13 shoes. The design channels the library aesthetic by putting Holiday's favorite pairs under glass, sort of like what one might see in a rare book room at the local library.
