Jerry Lorenzo shook up the sneaker world in Dec. 2020 when he parted ways with Nike and joined Adidas to lead the brand’s basketball category. Since then, things have been fairly quiet for the partnership but now, we’re finally our first glimpse at what’s to come from the duo.
Earlier today, the Fear of God designer shared images on Instagram of the FOG Athletics x Adidas installation at Innersect exhibition in Shanghai. At the center of the installation is a co-branded Fear of God x Adidas hoodie in a yellow colorway with blue branding. According to Lorenzo, the Adidas logo used on the piece is the same logo used by the brand’s basketball line from 1950 to 1971, which was arguably its most defining era.
There is currently no release info available for the Fear of God Athletics x Adidas collection, but Lorenzo confirmed that the Fear of God x Adidas will hit shelves later this year.
