Much of Nike Skateboarding’s recent releases of the ever-popular SB Dunks have been created in collaboration with sneaker boutiques across the globe. In addition to SoulGoods in Beijing dropping a collaborative SB Dunk High soon, there’s also a nearby skate shop that’s getting its own SB Dunk collab.
That store is Fly Streetwear based out of Shanghai in China and the sneaker project focuses on a new SB Dunk Low that’s seen in these images shared by @Chriscolgan on Instagram. The inspiration behind the sneaker is unclear at the time of writing, but the collab appears to reference fly fishing and is equipped with a woven Swoosh branding on the lateral side and a special graphic on the heel counter. Ther shoe dons a two-tone upper in blue, with a patch of fuzzy green suede on the heel tab.
There are currently no release details available for this Fly Streetwear x Nike SB Dunk Low collab but grab a closer look below as we learn more about the project in the coming weeks.
UPDATE (03/09): After initial images of the collab surfaced in October, we now have the release details for Fly Streetwear’s “Gardenia” SB Dunk Low collab. The sneaker will be released on March 25 via SNKRS and at select Nike SB retailers for $120. According to Nike, this project inspired by the gardenia flowers sold on the streets of Shanghai as well as Fly Streetwear founder Jeff Han’s earliest memories skating through it.
