It was just a few days ago that Reebok announced a new collab with Nicole McLaughlin and now, the sportswear brand has unveiled its new sneaker project with New York-based label Engineered Garments.

For this collab, Engineered Garments’ founder Daiki Suzuki has applied his label’s signature patchwork aesthetic to the Reebok LX2200. The collab will include three iterations of the 1980s-inspired sneaker, including a brown-based pair, a stealthy black colorway, as well as a white and navy makeup. The standout detail on the shoe is the updated “EG2200” branding on the heel done especially for this project.

“To design this shoe, we utilized basic earth colors and applied our traditional brand aesthetic through material mixtures and an asymmetrical color scheme,” Suzuki said. “We wanted to highlight elements of New York City that are not normally seen in campaigns. In particular, Flushing Meadows, home of the 1939 and 1964 World’s Fair Grounds, was a setting that felt genuine as it has so much historical significance.”

Readers will be able to cop this Engineered Garments x Reebok LX2200 collection exclusively from Engineered Garments on Dec. 8 followed by a wider global release on Dec. 10 at Reebok.com and select Reebok retailers. Each pair will retail for $140.
