Drake will release his first collaborative Nike sneaker, the Nocta Hot Step, on March 3. His Nocta brand announced the release date Monday, although, the information was also circulating on social media on Sunday.

The shoe will debut in the ‘Triple White’ and ‘Triple Black’ colorways, which will be available at Nocta’s website and select Nike retailers. On Nike’s SNKRS page announcing the shoes, it lists NOCTA.com, Atmos, Bait, Bodega, Burn Rubber, Centre, Concepts, Corporate, Crème, Extra Butter, Feature, Kith, Likelihood, Livestock, Nomad, Oneness, OVO, OVO Canada, Politics, Premium Goods, Rooted, Shoe Gallery, Social Status, Sole Classics, Ssense, Stashed, Succezz, Undefeated, Unknwn, UP NYC, Wish, Woodstack, and Xhibition as the stores that will carry the Nocta Hot Step. The sneaker is priced at $180.

The Nike Nocta Hot Step has pebbled leather and reflective 3M accents on its upper, and G-Tek traction on its outsole. Its sole unit is pulled from the 1999 Nike Air Terra Humara, which features the same traction pattern on bottom.

Hype for the sneakers built over this past weekend, when artists like DJ Khaled and Lil Yachty posted promo pairs to their social media accounts.

“Drake, thank you so much, because I’ve been calling all my connects for these,” said Khaled in a typically enthusiastic video.

While the Hot Step is Drake’s first sneaker with Nike, he released a handful of Air Jordans done in collaboration with his OVO brand in the 2010s. Drake has also, through his Nocta line, already produced collections of apparel with Nike.

Aside from the Hot Step, Drake is expected to release a collaborative Air Force 1 with Nike, although neither party has confirmed that upcoming shoe.
