UPDATE: Don't Ditch Your Timbs Just Yet, But A Wheat Foamposite Has Been Spotted

Will it replace either your Timbs or Foams?

words // Zac Dubasik

Wheat, 6" Timberland Boots have been a popular winter option for many, many years. Similarly, Foamposites have become a favorite sneaker for braving the elements, thanks to their indestructible construction. It looks like some simple math was used here, and the results combines these two popular winter looks. But is it a winning combination?

While unclear from these images, after seeing suede Foams recently, we wonder if the same treatement has been used here. Leather trim, and boot-style eyelets and laces finish off the details.

Let's hear your thoughts on this new sneaker. Will it replace either your Timbs or Foams this winter?

UPDATE: Nike Sportswear has posted official images of this upcoming release, along with a release date: Sept. 6th. It's also worth noting that they've listed the shoe as the Air Foamposite One, which means it shouldn't have the Swoosh seen on the sample pair pictured here.
