For the first time since 2008, the Chicago Cubs are heading to the National League Division Series.
This after ace Jake Arrieta pitched at masterpiece against the Pittsburgh Pirates at PNC Park, leading the Cubs to a 4-0 Wildcard victory. They'll square off against the St. Louis Cardinals in the next round.
But Arrieta didn't do it alone — he got some help from his bats. One of the night's other heroes was center fielder Dexter Fowler, who belted a solo home run in the 5th inning. Overall, he was 3-for-4 with an RBI in the win.
Fowler also happens to be one of the unsung members of Team Jordan, and has been wearing exclusive Air Jordan cleats all season. Like fellow Jordan athlete David Price, he hit the field for the playoffs wearing the Air Jordan 4 — his pair in Cubs colors.
There's little chance this version of the 4 will ever end up in stores, so enjoying the cleats is probably limited to the following photos.
