A little under a year has passed since Coco Gauff debuted the New Balance CG1 and now, her performance tennis shoe is available in kids sizing by way of a special guest designer.
According to New Balance, this “Colors by Cameron” colorway pictured here was designed by Gauff’s 9-year-old brother, Cameron. When Gauff and the brand started designing the CG1, they gave Cameron a sneaker book and a few weeks later, her brother sent New Balance back his drawings and colors.
This pair is one of Cameron’s many designs and marks New Balance’s first kid’s performance tennis shoe to release. The shoe features a two-tone blue and green color scheme on the upper, with gold New Balance branding on the heel.
This “Colors by Cameron” New Balance CG1 is available now in kid’s sizing at Newbalance.com and at select New Balance retailers. The shoe comes with a $90 price tag.
