Images of an upcoming Clot x Nike Dunk High collaboration have surfaced through various leaker sources including @sneakerjamz_new. In the photos, we can see that the high-top Dunk features a chrome-like metallic silver finish that appears to be accented with reflective streaks. The upper’s material is of note as it looks to feature a potentially lenticular scan line-like texture. At the tongue, Clot’s signature logo appears on the left shoe’s woven label, with the Nike logo adorning the right.
Co-founded by Edison Chen and Kevin Poon in 2003, Clot is a longtime Nike collaborator, first working with the Swoosh on the original “Kiss of Death” Air Max 1, a Footscape Woven, and an SB Dunk Low in 2006.
There are currently no release details for this Clot x Nike Dunk High, but the pair is expected to release sometime in 2022. Check back for the latest updates.
UPDATE (03/08): Clot has confirmed the official details surrounding its new Nike Dunk High “Flux” collaboration. The lenticular silver sneakers are said to be inspired by the duality of the yin and yang’s black and white colors.
“I have always had this fascination with lenticular since I was a child,” Clot co-founder Edison Chen said. “When we started approaching the design, I thought about a shoe that would change and would catch your eye even if you’re standing across the street. The shoe, at every angle you move, gives you a different feel. The simplicity of the colorway and the subtleness give a very contemporary view of what a shoe might look like in the future.”
The Clot x Nike Dunk High “Flux” releases March 18 from Juice stores and online from juicestoreusa.com in the US. It retails for $150.
