The collaborative partnership between Hong Kong-based brand Clot and Nike looks like it will soon continue, with reports of multiple Cortez releases planned for next year.
Sole Retriever reported the rumored Clot x Nike Cortez collaboration in October, revealing that the project will be a three-shoe affair.
A first look at sample versions of one of the colorways was revealed today by @wxj6550822 on Instagram but at the time of writing, it isn’t known which one of the samples will hit retail.
Clot’s take on the classic Nike Cortez sneaker features a split design on the upper, a toggle detail on the heel, and interchangeable footbeds. Co-branding also appears on the tongue tags.
There are no official release details of the Clot x Nike Cortez collab at the time of writing but according to Sole Retriever, the project will be released in Spring 2023.
UPDATE (02/06): Clot has officially confirmed that its “Clotez” Cortez collab will be released on Feb. 10 at juicestoreusa.com and at Juice stores locations. According to Clot, the project wears a Yin-Yang-inspired color palette, and the sneaker features a 3-in-1 design that can be worn as a sneaker or taken apart as a slip-on reminiscent of a martial art shoe.
UPDATE (02/27): Thanks to @whojungwoo on Instagram, we have a first look at Clot’s “Clotez” Cortez collab in new black and yellow colorway. There are no release details available for this pair but keep it locked to Sole Collector for updates.
UPDATE (03/03): Clot has officially confirmed that its black and yellow Nike “Clotez” will be released on March 10 at juicestore.com and at Juice stores for $140. Grab a closer look at the shoe below.
UPDATE (03/31): Release details for the final Clot x Nike “Clotez” collab have been revealed. According to Clot, the OG-inspired red, white, and blue colorway of the project will be released on April 7 at juicestore.com for $140. The raffle for the shoe will take place from April 3 to April 4 via the Juice app.
