Today, adidas officially unveiled the adiZero Crazy Light 2, a follow-up to the ultra-lightweight model they introduced last year. At just 9.5 ounces, the Crazy Light 2 replaces its predecessor as the lightest shoe in basketball and is nearly 10% lighter than the nearest competitor's shoe.

Seen here in detail is the already-popular "Electricity" Crazy Light 2, debuted on the court during the 2012 McDonald's All-American Game and later worn the Baylor Bears men's basketball team during the NCAA Tournament. The shoe features an eye-catching Electricity 3-layer SPRINTWEB-constructed upper, accented by black on the tongue, laces, asymmetrical SPRINTFRAME adiZero pinline and midsole. The 3-Stripes are done in a contrasting reflective material, while white helps finish off the outsole below.

The "Electricity" Crazy Light 2 will be one of the colorways available when the model launches on Thursday, May 24.
