An unfortunate byproduct of the culture of sneaker obsession is the bullying that can often result from someone not wearing the "right" pair of shoes.
Fortunately, there are people out there willing to step in and put an end to that. Take the student in the above video for example, who gives his classmate a new pair of Nike LeBron sneakers after he was bullied over his shoes.
"I gave you a pair of shoes," the boy explains, "since you felt bad yesterday about how everyone was making fun of your shoes."
In the comments for the video on Facebook, a user claiming to be the boy's mother explained the situation:
"This is my son Rocco. For real no joke. This happened last year, he came home so upset that the kids at school wouldn't stop picking on this kid for his shoes he begged me to get him shoes. begged. I could barely buy him shoes but I had extra Money that week so we got him shoes n he brought them in for him the next day. When I started watching I hear my sons voice, I almost died. Lol he's a good kid my son. Proud of him. Happy someone got it on video."
