Vans has linked up with the Los Angeles-based collective Brain Dead for two expansive sneaker collections that will launch starting next week.
The first installment of the Brain Dead x Vans collection will arrive on Tuesday, June 14, and will include new iterations of the Half Cab and Lampin models. Both pairs don multi-colored executions on the canvas and suede uppers while Brain Dead branding appears on the heel and shoelaces. The first drop launched today at Brain Dead’s Fairfax and Harajuku stores and will be available at wearebraindead.com on June 14.
The second footwear collection between Brain Dead and Vans will arrive in July, with the classic Authentic and Slip-On silhouettes used as the canvas. The collective has reimagined the brand’s iconic checkerboard print for this set, with Brain Dead’s signature head logo covering the entirety of the upper. The second Brain Dead x Vans collection will launch on July 5 at wearebraindead.com and at Brain Dead Studios in Fairfax and Harajuku. A global launch for the collab will arrive on July 9.
