The Asics Gel Lyte III Is Now "Banned"

A simple colorway port for the classic Gel Lyte 3 in this "Banned" custom from Dank.

Dank Customs has made straightforward colorway ports and conversions his calling card as of late.

That trend continues on this new pair of the Asics Gel Lyte 3 that has a very obvious ancestor in the Air Jordan 1 "Banned". The true "Banned" release of the colorway had a "What If?" theme spun in, and this pair kind of doubles down on that vibe by imagining the colorway most commonly associated with Michael Jordan on an Asics shoe. Then again this is a running silhouette, so even in some alternate universe where Mike is an Asics athlete, this likely wouldn't be the pair he'd wear (it's worth mentioning MJ's "Banned" Jordans were sparsely worn by the man regardless).
