Fresh off of delivering two Air Adjust Force styles last month, it appears that another collaborative project between the Tokyo-based label Ambush and Nike is in the works.
Shown here courtesy of wxj6550822 on Instagram is the previously unseen Ambush collab on the Nike Air Force 1 Low, a silhouette that’s currently in the midst of its 40th anniversary celebration. The sneakers wear simple white and black-based color schemes but are elevated with special details that were initially featured on their collaborative Dunk Highs. The sneakers are equipped with a reimagined Swoosh on the sides that extends past the heel, which are inspired by the pipes on a motorbike. Ambush’s take on the classic model also features a special heel counter, an exposed foam tongue and co-branded lace locks.
Despite an early look at the Ambush x Nike Air Force 1 Lows, the release of the collab has not yet been announced by either of the parties involved.
UPDATE (02/08): Ahead of their global Feb. 28 release, Ambush founder Yoon Ahn has confirmed on Instagram that the label’s next two Air Force 1 Low collabs are releasing early this Saturday, Feb. 11, exclusively at Kith New York and at the Ambush Workshop store in Tokyo for $190 each. Both pairs are then dropping via SNKRS on Feb. 28. Grab a closer look at both styles below.
