Jordan Brand’s series of “Dongdan” releases will continue this year with a new Air Jordan 5 colorway hitting stores soon.
Newly leaked images from asneakerhead101 and zSneakerheadz reveal a first look at the “Dongdan” Air Jordan 5 Low. According to Jordan Brand, the “Dongdan” series of Air Jordan releases celebrates the brand’s presence in China, along with the Dongdan Streetball Tournament that takes place every spring in Beijing.
This “Dongdan” Air Jordan 5 Low features a black nubuck upper, contrasting white stitching, and pink hits on the midsole. The brand’s “Dongdan” logo is embroidered on the heel, while a special graphic appears on the footbed.
Last year, Jordan Brand released a “Taxi”-esque Jordan 12 Low as part of its “Dongdan” series and an Air Jordan 6 Low the year prior.
Per zSneakerheadz, this “Dongdan” Air Jordan 5 Low is expected to release sometime this summer.
