Before the 2022 Doernbecher Freestyle collection is officially unveiled this month, it appears that one of the sneakers from the latest capsule has hit the net.
Newly leaked images from both @zSneakerheadz and @Erickjanlu0 show what could be the Air Jordan 5 Low Doernbecher designed by patient Michael Wilson. The sneaker features a multicolored upper, including a blue toe box and collar that’s covered with a macaroni graphic as a nod to Wilson’s affinity for mac and cheese. Additional details include an eye underneath the mesh netting at the midfoot that’s inspired by the designer’s favorite superpower, laser eyes.
As of now, a release date for this rumored Air Jordan 5 Low Doernbecher has not yet been announced by Nike or Jordan Brand but the 2022 Doernbecher Freestyle collection will be unveiled on Feb. 25. Check back soon to Sole Collector for official updates.
