Back in April of 2010, several of the nation's top high school basketball players traveled to Madison Square Garden in New York City to participate in the Annual Jordan Brand Classic. For the game, players like MVPs Harrison Barnes and Kyrie Irving were hooked up with PE colorways of the Air Jordan 2010 in different colorways representing their East and West teams. What you may not know is that there were some pre-production samples of the JBC Air Jordan 2010 that were left on the cutting room floor.
Pictured here is an unreleased JBC "West" Air Jordan 2010 sample, featuring a North Carolina-inspired White/University Blue colorway. Metallic silver works the inner lining and Jordan Brand Classic logo on the tongue. Overall, a very different shoe from the grey-based 3M reflective pair the players actually wore in the game.
