It looks like trashing Yeezys is the move this summer. After Piro Sierra broke the hearts of sneakerheads by shredding the Primeknit of his adidas Yeezy 350 Boosts, Instagram user snkrcartel turned his pair into Aqua Socks at a pool party.
The video below shows him stepping into a pool laced in the new Yeezys, an unthinkable move for most. Sure, his kicks will probably live to see another day, but fully submerging them in chlorine infused water probably isn't helping their long-term durability and appearance much.
I'm sure, like Sierra, the wearer will claim that he was showing everybody that they're just sneakers. They're also $200 sneakers that people had to reserve online.
