Perhaps part of a 10-Year Anniversary celebration, adidas is brining back the first signature shoe of 7-time All-Star and 2-time NBA Scoring Champion Tracy McGrady. Originally released in 2002, the TMAC 1 sports a lower cut, molded synthetic upper, redesigned rubber shell toe, forefoot adiPrene and Torsion for midfoot support.
The model is being re-introduced in three colorways, starting with the Black/Royal colorway that T-Mac wore for the Orlando Magic's road games during the 2001-2002 season. Already at stateside retailers is the "All-Star" TMAC 1, which sports a metallic silver base and Philly-inspired embroidery on the heel. Lastly, a Red/Black make-up that you can interpret as being a Houston Rockets colorway, a salute to McGrady's mismatched kicks in the 2004 All-Star Game or both.
Take a detailed look at each 2012 TMAC 1 Retro colorway below and stick with Sole Collector for more release information as it becomes available.
