It was less than a year ago that Kader Sylla joinedAdidas Skateboarding, and now, he has his own Superstar coming soon.
Shown here is the Adidas Superstar ADV, which is an updated version of the classic shell-toe silhouette designed specifically for skateboarding. The style dons an all-black color scheme on the tumbled leather upper that’s coupled with gold hits on the tongue, while pony hair appears on the Three Stripes branding on the sides and heel tab. The shoe’s standout details are Sylla’s name stamped on the sides and footbed.
“I’m so excited and thankful to join the Adidas Skateboarding team. It’s surreal to have the opportunity to travel the world with all of my friends and skate alongside people I look up to. It inspires me to be the best skateboarder I can be,” Sylla said in the press release. “Having my name on an Adidas shoe is crazy and something I’ll still be proud of 50 years from now. I hope people are happy wearing my shoes and I hope kids are inspired to know what is possible through skateboarding.”
This Adidas Superstar ADV will be released on March 5 at Adidas.com/Skateboarding for $100.
