A national icon in China because of his general selflessness and modesty, People’s Liberation Army soldier Lei Feng serves as the inspiration for this unique colorway of the adidas adiZero Rose 2.5. The army green synthetic upper is pulled from Lei's uniform, while a faux fur-lined interior is symbolic of his famous five-pointed star hat. Red accents the laces and 3-Stripes wrapped around the heel. Metallic gold surfaces on the upper lace eyelets and adiZero trim. You'll also notice embossed screw details in reference to a diary entry where Lei declared his humble desire to be a never-rusting screw in China’s revolutionary machine.
The "Lei Feng" adiZero Rose 2.5 has started to surfaced at retail spots overseas. No word on stateside availability yet, but we'll keep you updated here at Sole Collector.
