Dwight Howard used the second half of this past Sunday's NBA All-Star Game to showcase the newest colorway of his adidas adiPower Howard 2 signature sneaker, the Lei Feng edition. Inspired by the brand's ties to China and national icon Lei Feng, the shoe is designed in tribute to his well-known humility and desire to be a "screw" in the country's revolutionary machine.
Olive Green nubuck and leather are put to work on the shoe's upper, including a screw emboss detail along the side panels. Metallic Gold works the upper lace eyelets, dh logo and script on the heel, while black appears on the inner lining, heel tab and midsole. Hits of Orlando Magic blue turn up on the laces, 3-Stripes, heel branding and shank plate. A cream colored rubber outsole caps off the look below.
