A Sneakerhead's Guide to NBA All-Star Weekend

A roundup of all the sneaker events in NYC this week.

NBA All-Star Weekend is taking over New York City, which means all of the major sneaker brands have something special lined up for everyone who’s in town. Here’s a full listing of public events that Nike, Jordan Brand, adidas, and Reebok will be having in NYC this weekend.

Nike

Nike Zoom City SNKRS Station

Location: 348 Bowery, NY

Open: February 12-15, (8:00am-10:00pm)

Overview: Nike SNKRS is the ultimate personal sneaker service that allows access to the most premium Nike sneakers, offering the best catalog of Air Force 1, Air Max, Foamposites, Jordan’s, LeBron’s, Kyrie’s, Kobe’s, KD’s, and Nike SB products all in one place, in the form of a mobile app.

Zoom City Town Square Niketown New York

Location: 6 East 57th street, NY

Open: February 12-15 (10:00am-8:00pm Thursday and Sunday); 10:00am-10:00pm (Friday and Saturday)

Overview: NYC’s Niketown has been transformed for this week’s events and will feature some exclusive product drops and appearances from Swoosh athletes James Harden. Anthony Davis, and Kevin Durant.

Zoom City Arena

Location: 419 Canal street, NY

Open: February 13-15 (for hours and access to events, visit: nike.com/nyc)

Overview:  A new Nike-designed basketball venue with a state-of-the-art LED court.  The location will host athlete and musician appearances, , as well as the  Zoom City Classic on Thursday night.

Nike Inside Access Studio Panel

Location:
175 Broadway, Brooklyn, NY (Nike Zoom City Bank)

Open: Saturday, February 14, 3:00pm-4:30pm

Overview: Celebrating 43 years of Nike Basketball and its influence on sneaker culture, featuring a variety of special guests, Nike athletes and designers.

Nike Zoom City Town Hall (House of Hoops @ MSG)

Location: 2 Penn Plaza at 33rd street and 7th Ave, NY

Open: 10:00am-11:00pm daily

- Kyrie Irving (Saturday, 2:30-3:00pm)

- LeBron James (Saturday,1:30-2:00pm)

Overview: Just next door from Madison Square Garden, is a Nike space that celebrates New York basketball with limited edition product available for sale and athlete appearances throughout the week.

Jordan Brand

Pearl Pavilion

Location: 401 7th Ave, NY

Open: Feb. 13-15 (10:00am-9:00pm)

Overview: Jordan Brand’s pop-up store celebrating the Jumpman’s Pearl anniversary. People can literally step into MJ’s kicks and reenact some of the G.O.A.T.’s most memorable moments, try on some sneakers, and grab some All-Star product drops.

166 Flatbush

Location: 166 Flatbush, NY

Open: Feb. 13-16 (8:00am-9:00pm)

Overview: Jordan Brand’s pop-up store celebrating the Jumpman’s Pearl anniversary. People can literally step into MJ’s kicks and reenact some of the G.O.A.T.’s most memorable moments, trial some sneakers, and grab some All-Star product drops.

adidas

 

The a-Standard Pop-Up Shop

Location: 458 Fulton St. Brooklyn, NY

Open: Feb. 11-16

Appearances by:

- Damian Lillard (Saturday 6:30pm)

Overview: A 2500-square-foot adidas-only Foot Locker store with the full run of official NBA All-Star merchandise. The store will also offer exclusive, limited edition footwear from adidas Originals and adidas Basketball.

The adidas Sports Performance Store 

Location: 610 Broadway, NY

Open: Daily

Overview:  An interactive experience where fans can test out adidas’ leading footwear technology, Boost, and have a chance to meet adidas athletes.

Token 38 Pop-Up Shop

Location: The Refinery Hotel 63 West 38th St.

Open: Feb. 11-16

- Shaquille O'Neal (Friday, 12-1:00pm)

- Shawn Kemp & Dominique Wilkins (Saturday, 1-3:00pm)

Overview: Packer Shoes and Sneakersnstuff partnered together with Reebok (and some other key brands in sneakers) for a special pop-up during NBA All-Star Weekend. The space will be the only place you grab the Packer and SNS’ Token 38 collection.
