Last summer, LeBron James showed up to Media Day with a new superstar teammate and equally impressive new pair of Nike LeBron 7s to boot. The pair, like his LeBron 3 PE from the previous summer, sported a mismatched "Lakers" scheme, one shoe predominantly purple and the other yellow. To date, the shoe has been exclusive to James, but that may be changing soon.

Sneaker leaker solebyjc recently took to Instagram with what he called a first look at the "Lakers" LeBron 7. Though not yet confirmed by Nike, the in-hand look indicates that the pair may be landing at retail locations in the near future.

This would be the first LeBron retro remixed in a Lakers colorway to be released. Stick with Sole Collector for updates as they become available.

UPDATE (05/02): An official look at the upcoming "Lakers" Nike LeBron 7 has surfaced and is dropping on May 16 at select Nike Basketball retailers for $200. Stay tuned to Sole Collector for updates.
