It turns out that the once-rumored Comme Des Garçons x Nike Dunk Low is actually happening. The Japanese fashion label revealed its upcoming collaboration on the runway during the 2019 Paris Fashion Week.
Having already released a collaborative high-top version of the Dunk, Rei Kawakubo turns to the model once again. Both styles will use a semi-translucent textile upper with one pair covered in "CDG" lettering throughout. The look is completed with an all-black midsole and outsole. Check out a detailed look at the collab below thanks to photographer Karl Hab.
According to SHOF, both pairs of the CDG x Nike Dunk Low are slated to release in late spring 2020.
UPDATE (05/11): After it was initially reported to be releasing exclusively in women's sizing, it has been revealed that this collaboration will be available in men's and women's sizing. Nike has confirmed that both styles of CDG's latest Dunk Low collab are launching at Comme des Garçons and Dover Street Market on May 14, and will retail for $260 each. An additional drop at partner accounts will follow.
