Japanese clothing brand WTAPS is the latest to collaborate on the New Balance 992, and it will be available starting this week.
The 992 was first introduced in 2006 in celebration of the brand's 100th anniversary. WTAPS has reimagined it with an olive and orange color palette, inspired by the label's signature military aesthetic. The shoe makes use of premium mesh and suede upper with subtle details including "WTAPS" branding on the heel replacing the traditional 992. The style is finished off with a multicolor Absorb midsole.
This latest WTAPS x New Balance 992 collab will release on WTAPS.com and at select retailers in Japan on May 1 for ¥39,600, which is approx. $369.
