Although basketball fans only got to see a glimpse of Kevin Durant wearing his Nike KD 12 on-court after being sidelined from an Achilles injury, it appears that Durant's 13th signature sneaker with the Swoosh may be releasing soon after what appears to be official images surfaced.
This appears to be the same model that the Brooklyn Nets superstar was spotted wearing last month during a shootaround seen below. As far as looks go, it features a mid-cut construction on the upper with a large Swoosh branding on the lateral portion with a smaller reverse Swoosh logo on the medial side. According to the text seen on the insole, the midsole is expected to make use of a double-stacked Air Zoom setup with a full-length Air Zoom cushioning unit.
While the official release information has yet to be announced by Nike, select retailers have the Nike KD 13 releasing on April 3. Stay tuned to Sole Collector for updates.
UPDATE (04/02): Nike has unveiled Kevin Durant's newest signature basketball model, the KD13, along with showcasing some of its upcoming releases.
The shoe will launch globally in the base "Black/White" colorway on April 6 along with the "Planet of Hoops" colorway dropping in Greater China. Also releasing this month will be the "Hype" and "Chill" makeups dropping on April 10 and April 24, respectively. May 1 will feature the launch of the "Home Team" iteration followed by the "Bred" colorway arriving on June 1.
