Since 2018, Under Armour has celebrated Stephen Curry's March 14 birthday with special "Pi Day" colorways of his signature sneakers. This year, the brand is doing things a bit different, treating Steph to a brand new version of his latest Curry 7 model.

Known as the Under Armour Curry 7 "Pi Day" PE, this laceless version of the Curry 7 is designed for off-court use. It's been updated with a high-top knitted upper but uses the same combination Hovr/Micro G cushioning setup found in the normal Curry 7. Details tying it to Curry's birthday include the first 30 digits of the number Pi (3.14159265358979323846264338327) on the heel tab.

"Stephen is all about ease of entry with his footwear, and a casual slip-on take of the Curry 7 for his to and from the court movements was something we knew he’d like," said John Humphrey, Under Armour Footwear Design Director. "We had the idea while finalizing the Curry 7 and reviewing knit placements for the upper. We thought, what about a full knit collar PE? Something clean, understated for Stephen to wear off-court. We just didn’t know then that he'd like the PE so much that he'd ask us to release it!"

The Curry 7 "Pi Day" PE will drop in limited numbers on March 14 for $140 via ua.com and select retailers.
