Back when the "Heatles" were lighting up South Beach and Miami-inspired sneaker colorways were all the rage in 2012, Penny Hardaway's resurrected signature sneaker line produced a Dolphins-inspired take on the Nike Air Penny 5. The model made a surprise return to retail earlier this year and will continue to do so in familiar hues
An alternate version of the “Dolphins" Penny 5 appears to be on the way. Official images of the shoe highlight a white and teal upper with an orange midsole, white bottoms and an Air bubble with teal hits. Penny's iconic "1CENT" logo adorns the shoe in various places in the same scheme.
The original “Dolphins” Penny 5 originally released in limited quantities, but there is no word on when these are set to hit retailers or how difficult they'll be to obtain. Check back in the coming weeks for updates.
