Earlier this year, Nike paid homage to two of Tinker Hatfield's most iconic sneaker designs with the release of the Air Max 1 and Air Huarache "DNA Series" pack, but it looks like that was just the beginning for that concept.
The Swoosh is revisiting the crossover theme with the second installment of the "DNA Series" integrating design elements from each silhouette. The brand transfers the Air Max 1's classic blue colorway along with the mesh and suede construction onto the Air Huarache. On the flip side of things, the Air Max 1 borrows the Air Huarache's "Persian Violet" purple-based color scheme of the neoprene upper complete with plastic panels on the Swoosh branding and heel.
The latest "DNA Series" Air Huarache and Air Max 1 are releasing individually on March 13 on Nike.com and at select Nike Sportswear stockists for $109 (Air Huarache) and $130 (Air Max 1).
