It turns out Melody Ehsani's Air Jordan 1 Mid collaboration from last year's "Fearless Ones" collection is just the beginning of what's to come between her and Jordan Brand.
Yesterday, the L.A.-based designer took to her social channels to tease her latest project with the brand by showcasing a pink co-branded Jordan box featuring the Jumpman logo and Ehsani's "ME." branding on the lid. What does remain a mystery is the silhouette that she has chosen to work on next, but early indication suggests it will be the Air Jordan 3 with the caption reading "Do You Know," which may reference the iconic campaign from the '90s.
According to her teaser's Instagram caption, the next Melody Ehsani x Air Jordan collab is scheduled to release sometime in March. Stay tuned to Sole Collector for updates.
UPDATE (03/02): Ehsani has followed up her initial teaser with a reveal of her next Jordan collab. The designer has reworked the 1998 model known as the Women's Jordan, notable for being Jordan Brand's first women's-specific sneaker.
Her Instagram post details her collaboration's inspirations, including Women's History Month, the WNBA, and the film Love & Basketball. The sneakers themselves feature a black upper with red accents and reflective piping along with cherry emblems.
