In an attempt to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), Jordan Brand is taking precautionary measures to keep the players and the audience safe from the illness by canceling this year's Jordan Brand Classic game.

The JBC all-star game had been played annually during the spring season and it generally featured a collection of the nation's top high school ballers. This latest news of the cancellation was shared across the brand's social medial channels today, with the game initially intended to be played on March 27. It was also confirmed that fans who indeed purchased tickets to the event will be receiving a refund.

In the wake of the viral outbreak, Nike has also announced the cancellation of its L.A. 13.1 half-marathon that was scheduled to take place on April 5.
