After it was recently leaked that the highly anticipated Dior x Air Jordan 1 High would be limited to only 8,500 units, possible release procedures for the shoe have surfaced online.
According to new details from OasisNotify on Twitter, a draw for the chance to purchase the Dior x Air Jordan 1 High, or receive access into the Air Dior pop-up shop, is taking place on March 23 and 24. The results of the drawing will be revealed on April 6, and winners will receive a boarding pass to pick up their pairs or access the shop to purchase accompanying apparel.
The Dior x Air Jordan 1 High collaboration is rumored to be priced at $2,000.
A second drawing for the Dior x Air Jordan 1 Low is said to be taking place at the end of May or the beginning of June.
UPDATE (03/17): In a statement issued by Dior and Jordan Brand, they have decided to postpone the draw for the launch of the Air Dior collection due to the growing concerns of the COVID-19 pandemic. A new date for the Air Dior launch, featuring the coveted Dior x Air Jordan 1 collab, and for the opening of their collaborative pop-up shops, will be announced at a later time as the situation evolves.
According to the info posted on social media, Air Dior pop-up shops will be located in Los Angeles, New York, London, Paris, Seoul, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, and various parts of China.
Jordan Brand has not responded to Sole Collector's request for a comment clarifying the release procedures for its upcoming Dior collaboration.
