Finally, StockX has upgraded its security measures in an attempt to better protect its users' personal information.
Today, the platform has announced the implementation of two-step verification to ensure a safer shopping experience. Once two-factor verification is enabled, signing into your account will now require you to enter a code from a trusted mobile device in addition to your normal password.
"Your feedback has been instrumental in the testing and development of two-step verification," says StockX CEO Scott Cutler on Twitter. "Bringing enhanced security to our platform has been a top priority for our team, and I’m proud to announce this rollout. Make sure to update your app to access this new feature."
This news follows a massive security breach last year that impacted approximately more than 6 million of its users worldwide, which led to the platform offering free services to provide fraud detection and identity theft protection for a year.
