Reebok is commemorating Allen Iverson's time at Bethel high school by creating two Bruins-inspired iterations of the Answer V.
Previewed by Iverson on Instagram are two unreleased "Bethel High" Answer Vs that appears to be dressed in "Home" and "Away" colors of the high school team. It features a green and yellow color blocking along with an alternate black and yellow color scheme. Additional details include the school's mascot emblazoned on the lacing shroud and featured on the side's jewel logo. Check out a better look below.
Prior to becoming a standout basketball athlete in Georgetown and the NBA, Iverson led Bethel High's football and basketball teams to Virginia state championships, as well as earning the AP High School Player of the Year award in both sports.
Official release information surrounding the "Bethel High" Reebok Answer Vs are currently unknown but stick with Sole Collector for updates on a potential launch.
UPDATE (02/20): Unlike the "Home" and "Away" Bethel high school-inspired styles of the Answer Vs that Iverson previewed, Reebok's release calendar shows an alternate "Bethel" colorway featuring a black-based upper that's paired with green and yellow accents inspired by the school's team colors. The pair releases on Feb. 28 at Reebok.com and at select Reebok stores for $140.
