Continuing the 30th Anniversary celebration for the Nike Air Max 90, the brand is paying homage to the hardworking professionals in five select cities with the latest "City Pack" arriving next week.
The five cities that were chosen to be represented in the lineup include New York, Tokyo, Shanghai, London, and Paris. Each pair features a re-crafted upper and is paired with intricate details representative of the those cities as well as details honoring specific professions. The Big Apple pair serves as a nod to the Fire Department of the City of New York (FDNY) with special hardware on the heel tab inspired by firefighter helmets. Tokyo recognizes the city's construction workers with the tongue inspired by the street signs around construction sites. London highlights mail workers with the material for the upper inspired by their jackets. Paris pays homage to its bakers taking cues from the chef's uniforms and the French flag's colors featured on the heel. For Shanghai, its pair celebrates the food delivery service workers with a two-tone colorway inspired by scooters, which are their preferred method of transportation for deliveries.
The upcoming Nike Air Max 90 "City Pack" releases on SNKRS as well as at select Nike Sportswear retailers on Feb. 10 for $140 each.
