In terms of rapper-sneaker collaborations, few have been as influential as Run-DMC's longstanding relationship with Adidas. Dating back to the group's "My Adidas" single in 1986, the first-of-its-kind partnership has gone on to produce several special sneakers over the years, with a new group slated to hit this year in celebration of the Superstar's 50th anniversary.
According to py_rates, the Run-DMC x Adidas Superstar 50 collection will include three colorways in "Black/Ftwr White/Hi-Res Red," "Ftw Wht/C Black/Hi-Res Red," and a second "Ftw Wht/C Black/Hi-Res Red" style in a modified model.
