With the eventful day that Louis Vuitton is currently having including the unveiling of its latest collection including new sneakers for its 2020 Fall/Winter collection for Paris Fashion Week, it looks like there may be more in store for the luxury fashion brand.

According to WWD, we're learning that a Louis Vuitton x NBA partnership may be in the works. According to the reports, the French fashion label has sent out invitations for an event in its flagship on Avenue Montaigne in Paris, which is scheduled to take place on Jan. 22. This event will also fall in line with the first-ever in-season NBA game that's set to tip-off in Paris, France on Jan. 24 featuring the matchup between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Charlotte Hornets.

As of now, both the NBA and Louis Vuitton have yet to announce the partnership but we'll keep you updated if anything changes.

UPDATE (01/22): According to i-D, the debut NBA x Louis Vuitton collection will arrive later this year in October ahead of the start of the 2020-21 NBA regular season.

“We have done other collaborations with other fashion houses before, but nothing at this level and at this scale,” Marc Tatum, NBA’s Deputy Commissioner added to WWD. “We know from social media that our fans follow collabs and are big fans of the Louis Vuitton brand. We know that they’re going to be excited about this new partnership and collaboration.”
