Adding to the already stacked list of releases for Jordan Brand this NBA All-Star Weekend is another range known as the 8x8 Collection. This group taps eight of Chicago's most notable contemporary creatives—including Virgil Abloh himself—for a selection of sneakers and apparel unique to the city.
From a footwear standpoint, the highlight of the collection is of course the Off-White x Air Jordan 5. This will be released alongside a woven jacket, pants, T-shirt, hoodie, and boiler suit, all of which are designed by Abloh.
Coming next in the collection is the women's-exclusive Sheila Rashid x Air Jordan 1 Mid. This sneaker taps the unisex clothing designer, who gave the shoe a two-tone spin with grey suede in the rear and purple leather at the toe. The Sheila Rashid collection also includes a hoodie and long-sleeve T-shirt.
Chance the Rapper's initiative SocialWorks gets its own Air Jordan 1 KO collaboration, which combines white and aqua canvas with a blank tongue and orange laces. The organization will also get its own hoodie and long-sleeve T-shirt.
Music video director Cole Bennett's Lyrical Lemonade imprint gets in on the action with its take on the Jordan Aerospace 720 sneaker as well as a hoodie and long-sleeve T-shirt.
Capping off the sneaker selections, Jordan Brand's Wings program tapped four local students to design their own Air Jordan 10 inspired by Chicago's transit system as well as a hoodie and long-sleeve T-shirt.
Outside of sneakers, the 8x8 Collection also includes apparel offerings from artist Cody Hudson, hairstylist Drew the Barber, and streetwear boutique SucceZZ. Preview each of their designs below.
The entire Jordan 8x8Â Collection drops globally on Feb. 15.
