Kylie Jenner has been wearing a lot of sneakers that have collectors and connoissuers talking and angry lately, starting with the ultra-rare Colette x Air Jordan 1s, then moving onto the Nike SB "What The" Dunks, and now the MF DOOM x Nike SB Dunk High.
To some, seeing a celebrity of her stature taking part in the niche portion of sneaker culture is enough to get blood boiling. To others, it's cool to see her wear hype shoes.
The most recent pair, the DOOM Dunks, came by the way one of Nike SB's most noted collectors.
"[I've] Been collecting Nike SB dunks for 14 years. And been doing YouTube vids on them for 12 years. So safe to say I had a couple doubles and triples in the collection," says Fran "Franalations" Marchello. "[Andre Ljustina, aka Croatian Style, owner of Project Blitz] came through on Christmas Eve and picked up the DOOMs, Purple Pigeons, and De La Highs. So don’t expect this to be the last time you see her in some SBs."
