Rapper Action Bronson's love for the Adidas Ultra Boost is well-documented—he once raved about them in a 2016 episode of Sneaker Shopping—and after personally sharing a look at unreleased colorways of the sneaker, there are now rumblings of a collaboration.
Bronson recently showed off two never-before-seen Ultra Boosts on his Instagram story. There's a camo-patterned pair which blends a Real Tree-like Primeknit with orange accents, black Boost, a translucent heel cup, and a gum outsole. Meanwhile, Bronson also previewed a tan execution with leather logos, orange laces, brown accents, and black Boost. Both pairs feature fused seam details and coated toe caps.
While Bronson's posts were light on specifics, some are speculating that an official collaboration could be in the works. Whatever the case may be, there's a sample tag visible in the image above, so expect something similar to these to release soon.
UPDATE (09/13/18): After teasing his Ultra Boost collab on social media in May, Action Bronson has shared a closer look at the sneakers during a recent stop by GQ. "I don't know which ones to do, so I'm going to ask for some help...Make sure you let me know which one you want to see out there on people's feet," Bronson says.
UPDATE (01/03/20): Last April, Action Bronson aired his grievances with Adidas on Full Size Run, claiming the brand dropped the ball on his Realtree camouflage friends and family Ultra Boosts. Now, nearly a year later, the collab continues to make headlines after Bronson tweeted his displeasure with those who resold his shoes.
"If I gave you a pair of my Ultra Boost and you sold them fuck you," Bronson wrote. "You are scum."
But that's not all. It sounds like there could still be chances for the general public to get their hands on the shoes. The rapper says he'll have pairs on hand during his upcoming Stand Up Guy tour, with more details to be announced soon.
