The latest offering from the NikeCourt line is the new Zoom Vapor Cage 4 performance tennis sneaker. Rafael Nadal debuted the shoe on court during this year's U.S. Open Men's Singles final, but now it's receiving a proper retail release.
According to the Swoosh, this upcoming silhouette blends the durability of its Cage series with the speed from the Vapor line. The upper features a split hybrid design with the medial side boasting molded details to combat the abrasive drag against the court during a match and paired with textile mesh on the lateral portion. Additional tech is found in the midsole with a Zoom Air unit at the forefoot for extra responsiveness when players are anticipating a serve and sliding across the baseline throughout the duration of a tennis match.
The latest NikeCourt Zoom Vapor Cage 4 launches on Jan. 2 on Nike.com and at select Nike retailers. Retail pricing has yet to be revealed.
