Fans will have one last opportunity to cop Kawhi Leonard's New Balance OMN1S signature sneaker in 2019 with the release of the "Money Stacks" iteration arriving this week.
According to the brand, the latest colorway was a concept created this summer by both Leonard and Jonathan Grondin, Creative Design Manager at New Balance, and inspired by bankrolls.
The shoe's FitWeave upper is decorated in a bevy of green colors pulling cues from the United States' paper currency, while the elastic midfoot strap acts as a rubber band sometimes seen to secures a bankroll together. The look is completed with a beige and green FuelCell midsole contrasted by a gum brown outsole.
The New Balance OMN1S “Money Stacks” is set to release on Newbalance.com as well as at select Shoe Palace and Footlocker locations on Dec. 26, and retails for $140. Leonard is also expected to rock the kicks on Christmas Day during the highly-anticipated matchup between his Los Angeles Clippers and the Los Angeles Lakers.
